Haryana Land Revenue Act, 1887 (XVII of 1887), Section 34 – Constitution of India, Article 226, 227 -- Mutation entry – Pendency of application – Writ against -- Petitioner purchased land but his name has been omitted from the mutation -- Representation has been submitted before respondent No. 3 but no action has been taken thereupon till date – Writ petition disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to decide the pending representation in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within eight weeks -- If it is found that name of the petitioner has erroneously not been included in the mutation the same be done within four weeks thereafter.

1. It is submitted that petitioner has purchased land but his name has been omitted from the mutation. A representation dated 05.02.2022 (Annexure P-4) has been submitted before respondent No. 3 but no action has been taken thereupon till date. Thus, a direction may be issued to the said respondent to decide the pending representation.

3. Mr. Samarth Sagar, Addl. A.G. Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service.
4. Considering the nature of the order being passed, there is no necessity to file reply.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to decide the pending representation dated 05.02.2022 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If it is found that name of the petitioner has erroneously not been included in the mutation the same be done within four weeks thereafter.
Order accordingly.
