Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (XVII of 1887), Section 16 – Constitution of India, Article 226, 227 – Revision/ Stay application pending before Financial Commissioner – Non-consideration of – Writ jurisdiction – Revision and stay application filed on 13.10.2021 but the same has not been taken up for consideration – Writ petition disposed of with a direction to Financial Commissioner to take up the pending revision petition on the next date of hearing along with the stay application -- Till the decision of the stay application, there shall be a stay of dispossession.

1. A revision petition has been filed before respondent No.1 on 13.10.2021 but the same has not been taken up for consideration till date even though, an application for grant of stay has been filed along with the same.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction be issued to respondent No.1 to take up the pending revision petition along with the stay application on an early date.
3. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 & 2 only.
4. Mr. Arun K. Kaundal, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and waives service.
5. Considering the nature of the order being passed, no reply is necessary.
6. The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to take up the pending revision petition on the next date of hearing i.e. 27.07.2022 along with the stay application. Till the decision of the stay application, there shall be a stay of dispossession.
Order accordingly.
