A Case No.302 of 2023, “Smt. Ayesha vs. Jiyauddin” is pending before the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar under Section 2 of the Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act, 1939.
2. The present writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed to direct the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar to decide the said case as expeditiously as possible.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar is directed to expedite the said case (case no.302 of 2023) and conclude the proceedings as per law and as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.
4. Present Writ Petition (WPMS No.2690 of 2025) is disposed of accordingly.
Petition allowed.
