1. The petitioner is a tenant of the property bearing No.S-140-A, Industrial Area, Jalandhar City.
2. The respondent's petition under Section 13-B of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949, seeking ejectment of the petitioner has been dismissed by the Rent Controller vide order dated 27.05.2016. This petition has been filed assailing the correctness of the findings of the Rent Controller with regard to ownership.
3. The Rent Controller is a Court of limited jurisdiction. Once the ejectment petition has been dismissed, the petitioner have no grievance that can be addressed by the Rent Controller. In any case, the findings of the Rent Controller with regard to the ownership cannot be said to be a final adjudication.
4. Disposed of accordingly.
5. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
Petition dismissed.
