Constitution of India, Article 21, 226 -- Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), Section 107, 151 -- Protection of life and liberty -- Private respondents are extending threats to the petitioner and her husband – Petition disposed of with a direction to the S P that in case there is any threat perception to the petitioner and her husband or vice-versa preventive measures u/s 107/151 Cr.P.C., be taken against the party.

1. Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to take action on the complaint given by the petitioner against respondents No.3 and 4.
2. Status report by way of affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter Sirsa, is on record and as per the report, an enquiry was conducted in which on perusal of the statement and documents, it is found that the petitioner Jasmir Kaur and her husband Inderjit Singh are having a money dispute with the private respondents Ramesh Kumar and others. Ramesh Kumar has given 02 cheques to Inderjit Singh for which a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act is already filed.
3. Counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the private respondents are extending threats to the petitioner and her husband.
4. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police concerned that in case there is any threat perception to the petitioner and her husband or vice-versa a complaint is given by respondents No.3 and 4, preventive measures under Sections 107/151 Cr.P.C., be taken against the party.
5. Disposed of.
Order accordingly.
