Submission that petitioner and respondent No.2 are husband and wife and that respondents No.3 to 5 have not approached the complainant to compromise the matter and prays for quashing of the FIR qua the petitioner only – Ld. SDJM submitted a report indicating that the parties had appeared before her and got recorded their respective statements with regard to the validity of the compromise – Compromise is genuine and without any pressure or coercion from any corner – No useful purpose would be served in allowing the criminal proceedings to continue – FIR and subsequent proceedings quashed qua the petitioner on the basis of compromise.
