Compensation in motor vehicle injury case – Medical expenses -- Future medical expenses -- Rs.2,00,000/- was incurred during medical treatment of the appellant – In view of his medical condition and future medical needs and requirements, further Rs.2,00,000/- awarded towards future medical treatment & incidental expenses by applying the legal principles laid down in Nagappa’s case (2003) 2 SCC 274 – Amount of Rs.20,000/- towards special diet, Rs.40,000/- towards attendant expenses (17 months) and Rs.20,000/- towards transportation also awarded.
