Simply because minimum wage rate prevalent at the time of accident in the State of Punjab was to the tune of Rs.4000/-, does not mean that deceased was not earning more than the minimum wage rate -- From the evidence on record it is established that deceased was working as a Welder on a monthly salary of Rs.6500/- per month – Income assessed to the tune of Rs.6000/- per month by the Tribunal, requires no interference.
